    Location: District
    Job Goal: To deploy, support and maintain technology equipment and software.
    Qualifications: Knowledge of and experience with the setup, installation, modification, and maintenance, of computing technologies, peripherals, network devices, projection equipment, audio and video equipment; ability to provide warranty and non-warranty services on malfunctioning technology, expertise in software and hardware upgrades, technology tools; expertise with academic computing needs; expertise in the effective use of technology; ability to quickly image a loaner computer to minimize down time for faculty with malfunctioning computers.
    Responsibilities: The Technology Support Specialist has the following duties listed below as well as on the attached job description and other duties and responsibilities as shall be assigned by the Director of Technology
    • Support, test, analyze, and resolve hardware, software, application, connectivity and basic network problems
    • Diagnose and resolve/repair audio, video, peripheral, and projection equipment problems
    • Image new installations and reconfigurations for individual computers and whole labs
    Reports to: Director of Technology or his/her designee
    Compensation: Individual contract with the Avon Board of Education that includes comprehensive benefits.
    Work Year: 52 week, salaried position
